My bro's graduating from 6th grade tomorrow. *shock* Nyak, that little brat? I couldn't imagine him stepping onto highschool. *shudder* Anyways, I'm glad dad will be able to attend his graduation. We just need someone to drive for us. I wish I could, but I haven't got the know-how. *sob*

At last, I finally got my hands on a copy of Pandora, the first installment of Anne Rice's New Tales of the Vampires. ^_^ I was instantly intrigued by Pandora, and wanted to know her story the moment I read Queen of the Damned. But it's just now that I took time and bought the book since I was kind of engrossed in my interest for anime nowadays. I was briefly torn on whether I should buy Pandora or save the money for manga. Sakura was kind enough to coax me into buying the book instead, since she felt I missed reading about these wonderful blood drinkers. Ahhh, it's sure has been a long time...I especially miss reading about the vampire Lestat. The story of Pandora was nice though, I especially like her independent and rebellious attitude. Girl power during the reign of Augustus Caesar in Rome. Nice. ^_^

Dad, after coming home from the hospital was sent back again because he wouldn't stop vomitting and is still kind of weak from the operation. A while ago, he was discharged again since he felt better than last time and also regained some of his strength. I'm really happy to see him again and was really glad to notice that he is slowly returning back to his normal self. ^_^ I'll keep on praying for him...I must never lose faith and must always believe that in time, he'll get through this obstacle.

INFLUENCE

Hn...I unknowingly turned my friend Sakura and her housemates into Kare Kano fanatics. Then, into Fruits Basket fanatics. After that I lent her my X series and she got hooked as well. She's currently collecting Kare Kano manga since she wasn't satisfied with the series' ending. Hehe, I never thought I was that influential. Well, it's all good. It's nice since we can now relate with each other about those anime series. Let the anime fever spread like wildfire!!! *evil laugh* MWAHAHAHA!!!

I was kind of depressed these past few days but I've gotten over it now. I'll just keep on praying for the best. ^_^ One reason to be happy is that my finals is finally over as of today! Hurrah! *fireworks going off* Goodbye to all those sleepless nights I spent finishing my hundreds of plates for different subjects...and a great big hello to a great summer vacation! I've got lots planned. :3 This summer I plan to: make a website with Sakura, look for a summer job, and try to gain more weight (augh, impossible feat, that is).

TRYING TIMES

*sigh* It's hell week once again. Actually it's been hell for me since last week. My dad underwent an operation yesterday and my cousins said that my mom was a nervous wreck the whole time dad was in the operating room. I wish I could have been there but unfortunately, I couldn't stay by her side since I have to take my finals that day. I can't put into words the feeling I get everytime I imagine my dad in pain and my mom all worried. I wish I could do something to help, but I couldn't do that much except take care of the house while they are still in the hospital. I wish God will watch over my dad always...I don't want anything bad happening to him...

There! My first attempt at making a blog layout. *sheepish grin* Still have a lot to learn though...I'll definitely study more about html during my break. ^_^ I've been crushing on Kamui these past few days so I decided to dedicate this layout to him. *swoon* Sooo...don't have much to say for now, I'm finishing off my plate for Graphics. Ja!

Hay grabe, (checks the date) I've been gone for a while, ne? Hmm...been thinking of changing my layout this month. Aaahh...I'm quite attached to this Aya Brea layout already, time to move on...wahahaha. So my break's over already, and I'm back to finishing off my projects due tomorrow. *grumble* Sakura and I went to the mall last Sunday and planned to watch Treasure Planet. But we kinda lost interest ("...baka masayang lang 70 pesos naten pare...mahihintay naman sa VCD yan."^_^) and went on a food trip instead and stuffed our mouths full with mini donuts, nachos, and the like. Earlier that day, we took a trip to the manga store but found out it was closed every Sunday. T_T I guess I have to wait longer for me to get my hands on the last volume of Slam Dunk. I already have volume 30 and was blown away by Takehiko Inoue's art. *worships* Anyways, I'm trying to turn over a new leaf and start doing my plates early so I can finish on time. (HWAAAT?!?) Man, what's gotten into me? Ja ne, before I change my mind. ^_^
